Gift cards

The offer they keep.

Most mail gets one glance on the way to the bin. A gift card does not — it reads as value, so it stays. That is the whole reason the offer is built as a card and not as a coupon.

Placement

It is the biggest thing on the card.

The gift card runs across the bottom half of the front, directly under the offer. It is not a coupon tucked into a corner or a line of small print on the reverse — it is the single largest element on the face of the advertisement.

Booking moves to the side, where the phone number and the code sit together. So the eye lands on the amount first, and the way to act on it is immediately beside it.

Why a card, not a coupon

Six reasons the offer is shaped this way.

  1. 01

A number is easier to say yes to

“$399 for four sessions” is a decision. “Save on treatments” is an advert. A stated amount tells someone what the treatment is worth and what they are getting, in one line.

  2. 02

It reads as value, not as advertising

A card with an amount and a number printed on it does not look like the rest of the day’s mail. It goes on the fridge or in the drawer by the door rather than into the recycling.

  3. 03

It feels like theirs before they book

A card issued to them, carrying its own number, reads as something they already hold. Letting it lapse feels like giving something up rather than passing on a discount.

  4. 04

    It travels with them

“Take a picture and bring it in” moves the card onto their phone. It is then with them at the moment they are actually deciding, not sitting on a counter at home.

  5. 05

It can be handed to someone else

A card is giftable in a way a coupon is not. The household that will not book may know exactly who would — and that is how one address becomes two.

  6. 06

    It is a countable event

The card carries its own number and its own code, so a redemption can be traced back to the campaign that produced it. How tracking works.

How the panel is built

The amount does the work.

The value is the largest thing on the panel. The treatment sits directly beneath it, so the amount is attached to something specific rather than floating. The card number and the call to action sit at the foot, where a real card’s small print lives — which is what stops it reading as a printed advert.

  • Gift card panel offering a consultation with launch specials on a new treatment.

    New patient offer

  • Gift card panel carrying a set price for a four-session course.

    Seasonal package

  • Gift card panel leading with per-unit pricing across all brands.

What we will not claim

We design the card to be kept and to be used, and we place it where it gets seen. What it returns depends on the offer you choose to put on it, the households it reaches and what happens when someone calls. We will not put a number on that.
